What tax incentives are available?
The Federal Residential Energy Efficiency Property Credit provides a tax credit equal to 30% of your solar system cost.  IRS Link

Florida’s tax exemption for solar does not only exempt sales tax on solar equipment, it also provides a property tax exemption.  The solar system’s newly added value to your home can not be used to increase the property tax.  Florida Link
What happens if there are leaves or debris on the panels?
Solar panels convert sunshine into power, so if your panels are covered by debris, they can not produce electricity. Vegetation is generally not heavy enough to cause structural issues with your panels, and since most panels are tilted at an angle, most debris will slide off. However, excess pollen, dirt, sand, or vegetation debris can impact the performance of your system.

Utilizing our System Service Contracts is a good way to have routine maintenance provided without the hassle of getting on the roof.  Our team will clean and service the system to ensure optimal efficiency.
How long does a solar system last?
In general, solar panels are very durable and capable of withstanding nature elements including snow, wind, and hail. The various components of your solar power system will need to be replaced at different times, but your system should continue to generate electricity for 25 to 35 years.
What is the sales process? What can I expect?

Do solar panels provide power during a blackout or natural disaster?
If your solar panel system is connected to the grid, it will shut off in the event of a blackout. This is to prevent emergency responders and electricity utility repair-people from being injured by your panels sending power back to the grid. However, there are certain inverters you can buy that provide backup power in a blackout when paired with a battery.  Our company offers a wide range of equipment including generators, inverters, batteries, and more.
